WORK SPACE

D104 First Year Studio I, Fall 2018
In a group of four, students were assigned to create an installation around the group's desks that will enhance their workspace, physically or mentally. Design a modular system that is made from recycled cardboard materials.
This installation consists of triangular modules, joined using reinforced water-activated tape and hung with fishing wire. The cardboard modules vary in size, allowing for aesthetic appeal and function. The varying triangles frame the window view outside while also providing storage. To improve this project, the graduation of variance in triangle sizes could be better executed. Additionally, other methods of joining modules could improve the concept.
